Throughout his career, Steve has created in-depth, customized wealth management solutions for high-net-worth clients. He takes his time to get to know you, understand your needs, develop an appropriate plan, explain it in detail and answer all your questions.   
 
“I want clients to have a real sense of confidence and clarity about their financial future,” he explains.   
 
Steve’s career started with IG Wealth Management in 1989 after graduating from Wilfrid Laurier University with an Economics degree. He has worked in the tri-city area his entire career.    
 
Away from work, Steve enjoys time with family – his wife Stephanie, and their four children, Braxton, Chase, Logan, and Paige. He has been involved in his kids’ many sports activities. He’s also an avid golfer. In the community, Steve dedicates time to Samaritan’s Purse and the Alzheimer’s Society.

Building honest relationships and successful financial plans: this is what Stephanie has been doing with clients for 30+ years through her proactive approach to holistic financial planning and actively managed investment growth.

Stephanie joined IG Wealth Management in 1993, starting in Kitchener-Waterloo before adding the Wingham office to the practice in 2007.  
 
Stephanie cares deeply for family and community. She and her husband Steve have four children. Together, the Carter family travels, skis and supports World Vision and Samaritan’s Purse. Stephanie loves being active and enjoying the outdoors.

Fernanda joined Carter & Associates in January 2021 as an Administrative Assistant and transitioned to Associate Consultant in January 2022. Originally from Brazil, Fernanda has been working in the Financial & Banking Industry since 2002. She graduated from Unisinos University with a Law Degree in 2009. In 2019 Fernanda moved to Canada with her husband Marcos and their two little boys Leonardo and Murilo. Soon after, Fernanda received her Diploma in Business from Conestoga College. Her passion for providing service excellence has always driven her career in Brazil, and it is no different in Canada.  
  
Fernanda loves to be with family and friends, enjoying the outdoors as often as they can. She and her husband are always looking forward to their next trip, discovering all the beauty Canada has to show.
